Just wondering if anyone can help with the ID of an old roof rack and Bullbar? My elderly neighbours have them sitting out the back of their house and are about to take them to the tip. Are they of an HQ or earlier? If they are a Holden product. Would have the roof rack been for a panalvan or station wagon? Would you get these off Holden at the time or from an aftermarket vendor? Thanks

Both are aftermarket items from the 70s. Dr Terry Edited by user Sunday, 30 May 2021 4:02:36 PM(UTC)

If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0 |

They are still cool (especially the roof rack) as a period 60s or 70s piece really could suit a lot of wagons from that era. I'd be selling them if I were them

To me the bull bar looks Hktg by the way it slots into the rails, but in saying that it looks to high and would be well over the bonnet. Hq onwards had a brace on the brackets.

Many thanks guys for letting us know.
I will let them know your response and maybe post them for sale on Gumtree to help them out.
Unless someone is doing up a vehicle on the fastlane and would like them to compliment their project. please let me know
The roof rack is in great condition due to the quality galv that was being applied back in the day and the bull bar has a little bit of surface rust but is structurally sound.
Any idea on Price? I get that its only worth what someone is willing to pay but it would be great to give them a ball-park figure if someone can assist.
Cheers guys and thanks again
