I wondered why Holden stopped selling the Shuttle in 1990 without direct replacement. Was it unprofitable or were there any restrictions by Isuzu? Edited by user Tuesday, 31 August 2021 10:25:39 AM(UTC)

But Vauxhall assembled the Midi in Luton until 1994, and Holden could probably import it from the UK.

The $A value in the early 1990s was very low & imports from Europe & the UK were expensive at that time. Meanwhile competition between Ford Econovan, Mazda E-Seies, Nissan Urvan, Mitsubishi Express not to mention the Toyota Hiace created a very crowded & price competitive market in Aust. Dr Terry |
