Shows you the future of vehicles, just have to get battery technology sorted.

The stunt with the trailer reminds me of what has happened to me a few times with my Hilux. A couple of times I've had knobs in Rangers try to shortcut lights and get in the left hand lane. Priceless when they can't out accelerate a 10 year old Hilux towing a trailer!

Agree. Electric drive is the future. We just need cost effective and low carbon footprint electrical supply for the motors. So either far better and cleaner battery technology or the next generation of fuel cell (as in hydrogen) to provide the electrical energy. Right now EV's are really a con - Lithium batteries are not environmentally or socially responsibly made and the energy used to charge them is often coal fired. The carbon footprint to manufacture and in the end to eventually recycle the batteries isn't exactly good. Plus the human cost of mining Cobalt especially is bad. However I look forward to the right result in the end, as DC motor technology has been around for a long time, and they are still the best motive/tractive motor available.
