Hi all, Be Cerise was a GMNZ colour in 1973-74, Dulux 566-8435. It is listed in the Holden Black Book as 15342. I cannot find it on any of my Holden Aussy colour charts (I don't have them all). Can anyone say when/if this colour was available on an Aussy made Holden? Thanks Mark.

It won't be a standard colour hence why its not in colour charts. If it was a standard colour for NZ there may be a NZ specific colour chart with it. I have some NZ specific sales brochures but not colour charts.

8435 is an older formula, 15432 might be the refomulation for HQ. Sometimes they changed if a certain tinter changed.

Shame that yet again, NZ rego screwed up its numbers. On Carjam it comes up as L2750288 which is impossible, and it doesn't appear as L250288 or L257288.

It is obviously a car built for sale in NZ as it has no ADR tag.

Here is an image of a June 73 NZ Colour chart with Be Cerise listed.

It is NZ assembled and does unfortunately have the incorrect details in the registration system.

This is what the number should be -

As a side note, you can see the 5th character "D" has been re-stamped over the top of an "L".

It was not possible to get an NZ assembled 202 Belmont Wagon, so the "L" appears to be an assembly line mistake.

They didn't bother to replace the Options tag however, which still states L20 (that it does not have).

That explains the odd colour, being NZ assembled.
