Thought you guys might be able to help Debbie, she emailed me last night with this question:

Hi i was wondering if you could help me, I've got an xf falcon s/wagon and i keep blowing oil switches. My mechcanic pressure tested all switches and are all ok with the pressure, so could you please tell me whey this keeps happening...this is the 8th oil switch since oct 2003, and some only last a couple of 100k's when others last longer. I hope that you can shed some light on this problem for me.

Many thanks
Debbie Allert

I am presuming that by switch you have an oil light not a gauge. When you say blowing are they cracking & letting oil out? or are they just not making a circuit anymore?

If they are blowing then one of two things could be happening:

1/. Way
