Just heard that fibreglass panels are being made illegal in Queensland anyone know anything about this

It is my understanding that fibreglass panels are already technically illegal on a road going car.

For example, a cars bonnet is a crucial part of the crumple zone of a car and much engineering and crash testing goes in to making sure that they bend in
