Hi all,
Does anyone know if the following vehicles would have had radiator shrouds fitted from the factory.

1972 HQ SS (first series of SS, 253/M20)
1973 HQ GTS/4 (253/M20 - no air or steer)

The GTS now runs a trimatic so I'm also interested to know if a 253/Trimatic (M40) would have had a shroud fitted as standard.

I am restoring the SS at the moment and the GTS to follow (having too much fun driving it at the moment) and would like to get things right.

Thanks in advance

Darren

I think the shroud was standard on V8 cars fitted with A/C & an option on all other V8's. the first edition HQ parts manual lists 2 types, first is for the 253/308 & second for the 350, but gives no other info as to trans type or if standard on A/C cars o

Thanks Kevin,

That pretty much confirmed my suspicions that it was standard on cars with air conditioning and optinal on all other V8's.
regards

Darren
