Have a look at the HQ racers they have a very nice package that gives good horse power at a reasonable cost and if I remember correctly you can buy these packages ready to go.

my boss has offered me a 15second 186 out of a torana drag car. i think i might get that and build it up a little bit more. Its a good strong motor as he has taken it to the summernats a few times now and it performed good in most events.

If your going to build up the drag 186 of your boss, your wasting your time. There's no difference in that 186 to yours (apart from cam and head work). You could save your time and money and build up your own 186 to the same specs or better!
If that

I rekon you still shouldnt do it mate!! If the 186 thats been bored to 192 needs a rebuild, you have no more room to bore it out and will have to sleeve the bores!! Not a reccommended thing by me!! If you can find a virgin 186 or use yours which (hopefu

Thats the way!! I bought and built my 179HP while my UC was still a daily driver and simply swapped it over! That was because on my week off work, i need a car and had no other option! If i didnt need the car, i would have built up the 202!!
