Hi,
The master cylinder in my XB is leaking, I was wondering what is the price to get a new one (worse case). I just want a rough idea on what I am up for.

The quickest way to get your answer would be to ring a brake specialist.
They may be able to quote you on an exchange one or a rebuild on yours.
I know that www.fomoco.com.au sell overhaul kits for $35 and new master cylinders for $179 so that will give

Munromad2004 is right. Your local brake parts shop will be able to access your master cylinder if you have it removed? That way they'll check whether it's servicable or needs replacement.
