Hi, can anyone tell me how difficult it is to drain and refill the manual gearbox oil on a 1.8 TS Astra? I was thinking about getting it done at its next service, but if it is a couple of hours labour job (as some cars are) , I will just leave it

Its not difficult just run the engine till its warm or do it after a run. Jack the front up, take the drain plug out and let the oil run into a container (about 5 litre) let it stand with the plug out for about 20 minutes put the plug back in tight let it
