Since its gotten cold here I've been having problems with my car ('96 Barina Swing) of a morning, if I dont warm it up for a good 5 minutes then at the first intersection I get to when I slow down to about 20k's the car floods and stalls, and of course is then very hard to start. But once it does this once then its fine..
I was up in Lismore a few weeks ago - it wasnt cold up there and the car didnt play up, as soon as I came back here it started again.. so I know its the cold thats doing it.

I've had it to 3 different Mechanics (one was Holden), have posted on many different forums, but everyone seems to be coming up completely clueless.

My car has less than 120,000 K's on it, and I've had the 120,000km major service done early in hope that it might have fixed the problem, I have had the timing adjusted, a new coolant temp senor fitted, throttle body cleaned, Fuel filter & Air Filter etc changed, I have even changed petrol stations. But nothing seems to make a difference.

I have written to Holden service centres in Melborune and Adeleaide hoping that they might have writtern back and gave suggestions - but they didnt.

I'm running out of options & places to seek advice, so I'm just hoping that some of you can make some suggestions.

Hi Damo.

Where do you live, it's not in your profile.

If you're in Sydney, I can fix it, for you.
