G'day All,

I took my airfilter off and oil dripped out of the breather hose that goes from the airfilter to the front of the rocker cover, is this usual? and if not what does it mean? I checked the PCV valve and that is working fine, so where else do I look? Any advice greatly appreciated. Thanks.Russ.

what condition is the motor in? it may be excessive blow-by if your rings or valve guides are worn.

next time you stop the engine after giving it a good run, pop the bonnet & remove the oil filler cap, if you see smoke rising from the filler, then chances are your oil rings are getting worn out, causing "blow by"..
