does any body know how to fix this problem because most auto elects say there is nothing you can do apart from byepassing the dimmer switch witch does bugger all ????????????? and i know this is a common problem and everyone would love to know how to fix please cant see speedo and cops are sick of this excuse while ive got your attension the speedo will show how many klms per hour but no mileage anybody know how to fix this? people ask me how much petrol does it use i say about $40 a week because i cant tell how many klms thanks if you have any information

The cluster in my VH was dim as so i took it out and replaced all the globes, now it lights up beautifully at night.
Remove the cluster replace all the globes and whilst you are at it, lubricate the gears on your odometer and it should start clicking ove

I have successfully added extra globes inside the cluster, held in place with hot melt glue.
Jaycar, DSE etc all sell 12V "grain of wheat" bulbs that have around 6" of lead on them, so you simply solder to the PCB track & mount them where you want for ad
