Ive got no holdens left so this isnt going to be of much use to me.
1. Its a 253, thats been converted to turbo pattern. (that alone costs $200+).
Pre pollution, so do what you want to it and no one can bother you in regards to emissions (in the right car of course).
Heads are off for inspection, comes with everything (heads, rocker gear, chrome rocker covers, 2 manifolds, carb, 2 dizzys, double row timing chain, starter, flywheel etc) except fuel pump.
Bores look good and going off my verniers it appears to be a virgin block, however I'll have to invest in a micrometer to be sure.
eng no: 253H14409
$450 or best offer...
2. Statesman rear seat top and bottom, armrest and the pouches for the back of the seats. (take them with the engine for nothing....)
3. Also have a holden 6 sump... take it away with the engine...
4. also have a gearbox stand, was built to hold a turbo 350, on wheels, also allows 360 degree vertical rotation. Great for rebuilding a turbo 350, you could easily modify it to take any other gearbox, and it may take a turbo400 without modification $75
5. A snap on transmission jack. its on ebay.
http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayI...me=STRK%3AMESE%3AIT&rd=1Ive got a couple of early mercs now (1970), so in the unlikely chance you have some spares I will take engine parts for them as a part trade.
should also add its in Port Macquarie NSW, I go to Sydney fairly often and can deliver.
