Hi folks

After a bit of advice. I am looking at a HK prem project. It is a 307 powerglide(I assume) and a LSD.

Is this a standard configuration for HK prems? Is the 307 and LSD a rare configuration?

I have a 350 in the HQ munro I want to take out and put into something else. If the HK config isn't all that special the 350 may go in.

Do I need to upgrade anything on the HK if I put the 350 in as it is putting out around 350-400 hp.

State dependant, but the HK had a 327, and the HT/G had a 350 standard, so there is no probs. The registration authority may want you to fit HG brakes though, as these were standard on 350 powered HT and HG.
As far as I'm aware all 307 HK diffs were LSD,

Thanks for the reply. Looks like I might be able to get a second 186 version to make 1 out of the 2 as the V8 has had a messy repair to accident damage on left rear quarter panel.

I guess it is preferable to keep all of the numbers matching o

Make sue it's a HK for the donor 1/4. They are different.
