Can anybody help me with a problem l am having with an AU ! Classic Sedan. When you brake (foot brake) the LCD Clock goes off and the Dash Lihgts come on and the car seems to rough idle, but if the lights are on there is no problem. Brakes and Car seem all fine except for this strange problem, can anybody help with this matter.

Take a look under the dash and see if the brake pedal arm is crushing a loom when the brake is pushed.

It could also be something as simple as a wiring short in the brake light circuit under the dash which is causing problems by inducing a voltage in t

Thanks for the information l will look up under the dash in the morning but l have found out that part of the problem is due to the fact that the series 1 AU has a glitch in the battery area that if the battery is disconnected it can cause the onboard com
