Hi, I have a hj running a 350 chev, the last couple of times i've taken it out for a run i was driving around just crusing only giving it a stick about 3 or 4 times. After about 20-25 mins it starts to lose power, it feels like its starving for fuel, I do have a clear fuel filter and as soon as this happens i get out to look at it, and it is full, and the holley fuel pump(mechanical) which i purchaced brand new has only been in the car for approx 150 k's but is about 4 yrs old as the motor had only been rebuilt just recently and the car was sitting for a while.(dropped the piston) the dizzy are points so i dont think its electrical, and also tried 3 different coils (1 brand new),ive checked all vacuum lines and seems to be fine. i took it to a garage to ask a bloke, he listened and he said it sounds like its not firing on 2 cylinders, but i have just had my car tuned by a well known local dyno guy just a week before. So any advice from anyone to do anything to get my ride going right again would be greatly appreciated

(2) - did you get the heads converted to LPG ie hardened seats, new guides and val

Did you rebuild the carb when you rebuilt the motor? The bowl may be full of gunk or the float sticking.

With the solid lifters, I would be double checking the valve clearances. If they are a bit tight, as everyhting heats up, you may be holding the valves open and loosing power that way.

The other alternative may be overheating the fuel. A carb shie
