hi , i am wanting to fit power steering to my xd ute , it is a 6cyl with column manual , i was told that this is not a bolt on job as manuals never came out with power steer, can i just use the power steer rag flex joint and bolt it up? or is there some kind of modification that needs to be done ??, i really want to lighten up the steering , thanks

get the box, pipes and pump from an XF - it should bolt right in

the steering shaft centre shaft will bee too long but it can be carefully tapped up to shorten it...
