Presently running Holley 600 vac sec on 1969 302 Windsor. Its an old carby and has a few leaks. Probably due to lack of use, more than anything. It does go well though!

I either have it rebuilt or replace with alternative fuel system (injection?) as an upgrade alternative.

I most likely will have it rebuilt. Does anyone know costs of a full recondition of a 600 Holley V/S(its an 1850-1)manual choke. I'm in Brisbane / Sunshine Coast.

As an alternative, are there any viable fuel injection alternatives available? Definately not the factory setup. Just dont have the room(and its ugly).

I saw a Holley 4 barrel system some years ago with throttle body injectors. Has anyone seen or heard whether they were successful?

Thanks

Wayne

holley still sells 4 barrel injection throttle bodies. Concept must work ok. would not be as efficient as direct port injection but still flexible. BUT is it worth the extra cost (loom, computer, etc) compared to a really good holley, BG, dominator ?

Try this site or look in the holden forum under the thread 'new as carby'. Looks like they do good work and appears well priced too.
