Have been considering changing engine in my EA as its getting a bit tired. I have a 302c for my coupe project but will be a long while before that is ready for it so I was considering installing it in EA. I am aware that due to age difference of engine I have to run straight gas and am willing to live with that.
Does any one know of this swap being done before and whether it's worth it or should I just upgrade to 4.1MPI?

I don't think you can get the clevo to fit without some major headaches. The EA engine bay barely fits the windsor motor and the old clevo is a fair bit wider. You might get the cleveland to squeeeeeeze in but changing spark plugs would be a mission.

I would be running T5 manual behind as this is the complete setup I intend to use in my coupe project. Was also thinking that it would allow me to run the engine in before transferring it to coupe when finished. As to fitting in engine bay I am unsur

Thanks for all input. I will stick with cleveland for coupe and maybe just upgrade to 4.1mpi when carby3.9 finally dies :)
