Just like to firstly thank those who helped with the steering problem in the ute.
Secondly, I have the fuel injected 3.3 black motor in the HQ but I just come back from Mackay and had to rebuild it. It didn't blow up but it did make some real weird noises, so the motor got a rebiuld and so did the box when it was out(THE BOX COST MORE THEN THE MOTOR).But I was wondering if the 253 would be a better choice of motor with the amount of miliage that I do.
*Fuel economy
*Power
*reliability
The ute goes pretty much all over QLD and I have a job coming up out at Alice Springs so it does do a fair few Km's. |

My personal opinion is that if you are going to be doing heaps of kM, and you are handy mechanically and elecrically (which you appear to be as you've fited a VK EFI) then an injected 5.0L from a VN or VP would be the go. My second choice would b |
