Matt, check the computers first. I am pretty sure the manuals and autos engine computers have different programs in them.

Computers are the same, but there is (AFAIK) slight differences in the chip.
However, an auto computer/chip will work work with a manual box in VN/VP.

We do this conversion almost daily.
You'll need a tailshaft, T5 box, clutch cable and pedal box to

Hi fatboy.

This is a common misconception, the computers ARE the same.

All VN/VP/VG/VQ Holdens use the same 1227808 Delco computer, it is only the 'mem-cal' that is different. The mem-cal is basically a plug-in EPROM (erasable, programmable memory)
If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0
