I have a multipoint 4 speed gearbox in my ea falcon. Somtimes whan i'm driving my speedo cut out and my gearbox wil only go in 2nd and 3rd gear. If or when my speedo comes back it will still only stay in those two gears. I have to turn my car off completly to get it back to norm. I have been told it's a simple chip that i have to replace. Does anyone know what it is called and how to install it?
Thanks

It sounds to me like your speedo sender is on it's way out. The sender attaches to the extension housing of the gearbox pretty much where & in the same way the old speedo cables used to.
