Hey I was wondering if anyone has a guide or knows of one on how to swap a VL auto gearbox with a manual one (ie removing auto, fitting manual). My old man has worked as a mechanic and has swapped manual gearboxes but not auto to manual and wants to give this a shot.

do a search, there have been a few of these threads www.rodshop.com.auwww.malwoodauto.com.auVN Calais, V8 Auto, Blown etc etc. Air con, Electrical, Car audio Master.

IF IT IS A 3.0LT, THE HARDEST PART IS GETTING THE METAL BUSH OUT OF THE BACK OF THE CRANK.ANOTHER SMALL PAIN IS THE WIRING SIDE OF THINGS,REVERSE LIGTHS INHIBIT SWITCH ETC.BUT IF YOU HAVE ANY PROBLEMS JUST POST THEM,A COUPLE OF US SHOULD BE ABLE TO GET YO
