FITTED MY HQ WITH WB BRAKE CALIPERS GIRLOCKS,AFTER BLEEDING SYSTEM AND REFITTING WHEELS FOUND THAT I COULD NOT MOVE.JACKED FRONTS BACK UP AND FOUND FRONTS LOCK,CRACKED THE BLEEDER NIPPLES AND FOUND NO PRESSURE.TRYED ROTATING TYRES WITH BLEEDERS CRACKED OPEN BUT WHEELS ARE STILL LOCKED,CALIPERS HAVE BEEN OVERHAULED.A NEW MASTER CYLINDER ONLY 4 WEEKS BEFORE.

Was the valve removed from the master cylinder to allow the fluid to bleed back. Maybe it still has the drum brake setup in the master cylinder.

would that make a dif if you have the bleed cracked and the tyre still does not rotate?

Hey Jimmy Ihave had that prob before in my case it was caused by tapered pads making the caliper piston bind and nothing short of levering it back would release the pads including releasing the bleed did you use new pads or second hand ones? cheers c

You are right opening the bleed nipple should release the pressure, I assume you cracked both front and rear. Are all the wheels locked or just one? If one it could be a piston stuck in one of the wheel cylinders not allowing the brakes to ease off.

chris hit the spot,i put new pads and rotors in on the week end and all is good.i would never believe that a set of pads could of caused that fault,thanks alot chris.
