Hi, I'm looking to buy a ZD Fairlane its in good nick engine and driveline wise but there is bits of rust on the body work, the worst part is down on the ledge of the rear door near your feet about two fist sizes long... the other parts are about the size of my palm on the doors..
my question is how much do u think itll cost to get it fixed and also how long could i drive the car until the rust sets in before i cant drive it anymore
please help me thanks heaps everyone.

brett,i have 4 te cortina's my work car is a 79 giha wich when i bought it had a lot of rust in it but it had a good motor and cold air.the first thing i done was grind it back with a 4 inch grinder then rust converter it/fiberglass/bog/paint it.to be hon

Hi Brett, I have a ZD and have just had the rust fixed in the very same section you have described. (i cut out most if the rust myself in the rest of the car but got a pro in for the rear quarters as they are very visible). If you are in Perth I can recom
