hi, i was wondering if anyone could tell me everything i need to know about swapping my auto 253 motor for a 350 chev?what new parts do have to get/swap etc. This is for my 1 tonner project where ive just finished with restoring the chassis and now it's time to put the motor, trans, exhaust ect back on. I also want to run the chev on duel fuel, so some suggestions as to what i need for doing this would also be greatly valued. cheers guys.

Easiest is:

350 with HQ mounting adapters (CRS or Dellow for adapters), uses 253/308 engine mounts.
TH400 box.
TH400 adapted crossmember (modify yours or shorten a HJ-HZ Statesman one).
HJ-HZ TH400 shifter, speedo cable.
Shortened 1-tonner tailshaf
