Hi Guys,

I am unable to identify the ratio on my diff' in my XC Fairmont 4.1 Wagon. It's a Borg Warner diff' if that is any help !

I was told that there should be an identifying metal tag attached to the diff', but that appears to have gone walk about.

Kind regards
George

Hi George,i have a basic and rough way of checking...mark the hub with a line of chalk...turn the drive shaft and count the revolutions the shaft does to complete one full turn of the hub...divide the numbers and you will have a rough idea of ratio...hope
