speedo drive gear colour for 3.08 diff ??

gotta ask the question again, if anyone can answer, I need to know what colour gear to stick on my speedo cable (trimatic auto) for a diff ratio of 3.00/ 3.08 and if you know what colour for 2.78 and 3.336 let me know that as well. ta

It's not that simple. You need to tell us what size the tyres are (eg 245/50/14) and whether it's a 6cyl, V8, Commodore, VK EFI etc gearbox. There are at least three different DRIVE gears (ie the gear inside the box) that drives the speedo gear, and which |

v8 253, tyre size 225 60 series 14 inch, so what colour should it have for 3.08

Hi Jas,
After looking at your tyre size and considering that you are using a 3:1 9", I reckon the dark blue should be close.
As discussed, when you get it sussed, give me a yell and you can match your speedo against my VY's on Tonkin Highway. I know
