I've got a VX Berlina V8 wagon with auto. I just use it for traveling when i go away. I'm looking for any mods that will increase fuel economy, (preferably with an increase in HP as well)
It's got triY extractors, dual system with a balance pipe. I put an SS airbox on and it went from 11.2lts/100km to 10.6lts/100km.
The best I've had it is 9.5lts/100km, at 110kph with the A/C off.
I was thinking of some 1.85 rockers, anyone tried them??
Eventually I'll get the computor redone,but I want to get mechanicals mods sorted first.
I don't want to start changing anything inside the engine, cam, heads etc. As I want to keep this as a reasonably? standard car, I've got other hot chevs in HQ's to go and thrash if I want to go real quick.
Do they have speed limiters programmed in? This won't go past 220.
Any info and feedback on all this will be greatly appreciated

have you changed the filter to a high flow yet?
you have pretty much covered the main mods so far, so go get a "Custom" tune.
i dont agree with Qute, as it still may not be 100% suited to your setup.
if you get it done on a dyno, realtime, with LS1edit
