Hi folks,
What is "the collective" recommendation for replacing these 2 gaskets. What brand to buy? What not to buy? Where from ?
I think its time to say bye-bye strommy, hello Quad !

Replacing these effectively is one of my pet hates because the 'bastards' always leak. Over the years I have given up on the rubber front and back seals, and just used the manifold gaskets themselves and a generous bead of blue silastic to replace |

Hi byron,
Yep std pre-poll heads on both cars. Thats why I went Q not JXZ. EGR is a PITA.
Any preference on brand etc ?

One tip for replacing V8 inlet gaskets is to use some gasket due or silicone on the bottom side of the front and rear seal.
Put them in place and then go inside and have a cuppa or whatever and let them partially set.

Having been through about 6 inlet manifold removal / refits on a SBC in the past few months, I have found that Felpro make a very effective inlet manifold gasket.
