Hi All just a quick question on the auto that is in my 79 F100. On the oil pan it has written automatic transmission in cursive writing then below that in large bold letters it has MATIC and below that again it has overdrive written and the the Ford symbol below the lot. Yes it is a four speed and one bloke called it a Yanke box ?? only other thing that might help is that the kick down runs on the same pin assy as the selector. Reason I ask is that I want to put in a B&M shifter and want to know what i have so the all the brackets and stuff are right. Thanks in advance Jim.
