In often surf this site and have noticed how helpful you are in advising others who need accurate technical advice. This question may transgress some boundaries. For an 4.1 Xflow with alloy head and alloy inlet manifold (gasket is leaking) what sort of a "RELIABLE STRAIGHT EDGE" should be used to dertermine if there is a warp or irregularity of the surface of the inlet manifold ? and if removing pieces of broken manifold gasket from the head should I plug the ports with cloth ?hanking you for your reply ~ Verne
