I've managed to get hold of 2 sets of standard exhaust manifolds for the J. It has a 253 engine fitted. ID numbers are 7434983 on one set and 9945217 on the other. It also has the heat riser fitted where the first one doesn't. Does anyone know whether they will fit. I think the Commodore ones exit out the rear where the H series Holden exit facing down? Am I right?

i have 2 sets here, details are as follows, look like the same as you have, the HQ set was off my Red 253, WB set off my Blue 308
HQ RHS - 7437802, exit down approx 70-80 degrees
HQ LHS - 7434983, exit straight out rear
WB RHS - 9941751, exit approx
