i heard that 302 clevland block is the same as a 351 clevland block but they just have a different crank shaft if some one can tell me if this is true that would be great. thanks

302 has the same block as a 351. A 302 has different crank, rods and heads. Running a 351 crank and rods with 302 heads will really push the compression up and may lead to pinging with these new low octane fuels.

I'll confirm that. You can also stroke that engine to as large as 408ci. I personally think 408 is a bit much for the block. 393 is the most I'd go. Do your sums if your rebuilding? Rebuilding to 351 can cost just as much as stroking to 393. I was quoted
