Hi there

My VC SLE has had a melt done under the dash which i now have to change. What i would like to know are the VB and VC looms the same? are base model and SLE same? so sle looms just clip in.
Any help would be great before i waste time and money getting something i cant use.

Depends on the car, but an SL/E with electric options has additional looms tapped into the fuse box & running under the dash.

The aircon system also has a different loom too.

If you are handy with electrics then you could easily add the extras, but

Thanks for the reply, i'm located in Melbourne. I've been looking around at self serve wreckers for one but they really only have SL's or vb sle with no electrics. Are you wrecking this SLE up there? would like to find a whole loom from vc s

Yep, it is being wrecked in Sydney, by a mate of mine, and the car used to be mine!

The car has full electrics, but the loom has been spliced into in places, although it wouldn't take much to repair it.

Only hassle is that it started life as a 6, an

Hey Mick

My car has all the electrics, I'd be a bit worried if it didn't beening a Brock. Is the tacho wire the only differance between 6 and 8? I would like to find an engine harness as well.
What sort of dollars would he want for it and of course y

Sorry, I didn't read the post properly & catch on that it's a Brock!

Are you in the BCOAA? Can I ask your build number? (A mate of mine is 80% done on a VC HDT register).

The tach wire is the only difference in that part of the body/dash loom, you

Hey Mick

I think I've read something about BCOAA on Brock Commodores. Its a national car club?
Anyway this car thats been wrecked, if the looms fairly original I would mind the loom from front lights to back lights minus the engine harness if possible
