I know I have asked this question before on this forum and got no responses -surely someone can help me - if not at least can someone tell me where I might start to look for the information I need.
I have two manifold numbers 2823086 and 9932888. The first one is on a 253 the other is one I picked up a while ago.
Can anyone tell me the era of these manifolds and what carby would have been on them?
Thanks
mh

They are NOT HQ or HX according to my Parts Books although the second Part Number sits between 2 HX Parts Numbers (9932587 and 89). Maybe that one is a Torana one?
There are easier ways to tell (unless you are doing a Concourse Restoration on something

I have 2823087 on my garage floor. It is very much a non-pollution 308 red series manifold. So its pre-dates late 1974.
Maybe 2823086 is a manual manifold and my 2823087 is for an auto ? The 9932 number sounds Torana-ish.

Don't be lead to believe that all numbers on parts and accessories are the actual part numbers in manuals as most are the manufacturers numbers which are close to GM numbers. Al.

casting numberrs and part numebrs are not the same. he number cast into an item is the part number for the blank part, no machining. this number would only be used internally. Once machined a new number issued.
28s run from late HK to mid HQ, 99 from m
