Hi, I am in the process of restoring LC XU-1. Car was modified in some ways, and I intend to put it back as close to standard as possible. Car has slightly flared guards, which was all the go in the 1980s. Body work is underway. Car has rust in floor pans and one sill. Car was originally Rally Red and will be back that way soon. Original CD 150 carbs will run on the XU-1 spec motor. Motor will be built to CK spec. I had a LJ XU-1 in the early 1980s and now I'm going to do the LC. The Holden verfification letter for the XU-1 vin is shown, but it's hard to read, but says car was 8/1970 rally red XU-1, Brisbane built car.
The other car is my HR Premier, it also need some resto work. Car was one owner, originally purchased from GMH Acacia Ridge and features power steering. Has 101000 miles on the clock and drives very well.
