Hi there, Just had the water temp sender bolt sleve strip in the manifold. Hopefully i can get a new thread in it.
Incase its wrecked what engine types (ie manifolds)will fit to a blue 253? In NZ there are no emmission worries that i know of.

Seriously Kiwi - they do strip out. I think its the old alloy and high tensile bolts that do it. Just pick a slightly larger diameter thread and re-tap it. Use some aviat

Any blue or black V8 manifold, assuming it's an original blue 253, not a blue painted red one. KC castings make a manifold called a 253308 that will fit also. I think you can buy it off this site through rare's also. |
