I need a few parts for a manual conversion, and was just wondering what I should budget for when going to the 'yards.
What do 202 flywheels generally go for?
I need a tailshaft for a celica box into a hx with a salisbury - I assume i'd have to get this made up - what's a custom tailshaft usually worth? Is there a place in melb that people have had good experiences with?

The celica box is almost identical in length to the M20.
I had a VH commodore (202) with a celica 5 speed - steel case - in it. Teh tailshaft is only slightly shorter than the regular holden one, and when I converted it to a 1 piece, I used a standard |

Thanks Mick - got the box, clutch, pedals and all the other gear. I'll see if the rodshop sell parts of the kit seperate. Someone mentioned something about a yoke from other toyota that use the starfire four - can't remember what was mentioned though.

The early 80s corona ran the starfire motor - there's heaps in wrecking yards.

Do you still need the flywheel? I have a spare flywheel that just came off a red 202. I don't need it. I'm in Melbourne, western suburbs. You can email me at hairydude1(at)optusnet(dot)com(au) - with the relevant changes (damn the spam!).
Cheers,

You can also use a blue/black motor flywheel, and they have a bigger clutch. |

Yes. Only snag is the clutch kit is dearer than the old red motor one. |
