Ive had replies, good ones at that - plus a few pointers too! Now i need to find out if anyone in QLD has done it and been street registered in QLD. If you have done it, it would be helpful if you could give me some information on the following: What needed to be modified for the V8 to fit (Ex Starfire, currently running red 6) Did the brakes need to be upgraded? What else needed to be changed/modified? Thank you for your assistance (in advance!). Keith

An Engineer would simply look at an LX and say the UC is the same car with different nose and tail, and has to comply with the same evolution of ADR27 ie ADR27A. Once im home ill hit the D.O.T and suss out what needs to be done, and ill speak to my engineer and see what he rekons! This wont be happening until about Mid-year, so i have plenty of time to locate and build the motor! Keith
