I'm mulling over making a wooden dash for the HX; ditching the old one and making one out of a nice dark wood and fitting it with minimal gauges and switch gear. Anyone got pics or done this themselves?

Also interester in putting modern indicator and wiper stalks on the streering column. Is this common?

Dunno about the dash, Spud but the combination switch is not hard to do.

Just get the upper column jacket with the switch and associated wiring from a late HX or HZ (not WB or Commodore as they are somehow different but I've never been able to quite wo

I think the commodore one has a smaller plug on it. But you can buy a woodgrain repro dash why go to the effort of making one?
