hey guys I waswondering how hard it is to replace the head gasket on an ef falcon and how u would go about it? any relvant info would be helpfull thanks

This is a fairly straight foward job,undo inlet manifold along head and leave in position,undo exhaust along head and leave in position,undo power steering pump and bracket off head,remove rocker cover and tensioner guide bolt at front of head,there is a

Hi, when you take the rocker cover off it's good insurance to poke an electrical tie through the cam sprocket and tighten it around the timing chain to ensure that the teeth stay in the same spot on the sprocket and don't get moved into another spot on th

The torque of the head bolts is tighten to 40 nm then tighten a further 90 degrees (1/4 turn),oil the threads and the flats on bolt heads.

if it ain't broke we can improve it.

Hey guys has the notch on the timing chain sprocket got to line up with anything Ive just started pullin it apart and stoped there because i'm not sure any help would be great thanks

There is a pin in timing gear which has to line up with a slot in the end of the camshaft.

if it ain't broke we can improve it.

hey guy's got everthing off and is ready to go back to gether but when I lifted the head out I sliped and broke the timing chain tensioner how hard is it to get that out does the whole front of the motor got to come off? any help would be great thanks.

Yes the timing cover has to come off to replace this part.

hey guys, been told that I've got to pull the K frame off the chaise to drop the sump to change this little chain guide, seems like a lot to do this and well not to confident doing this but carn't aford to take it to any shop to get done any help would be

4 -7 Nm should do it. You don't have to drop the sump or mess around with the K frame. If you remove all the stuff from the front of the motor that should give you enough room to work. Don't forget to use a sealant that is oxygen sensor fri
