G'day all, I need to know if the tonner is supposed to have a tap on one of the heater hoses? It just has the hoses going straight from the engine to the heater core but has never been a problem, the heater turns on and off with the switch, but as I found tody when I pulled out the core to investigate a leak, this is only because of a flap immediately behind the core which opens and shuts with the cable from the heater control switch. I always see heater taps on Ebay that say they fit HQ-WB Holden. Is mine missing it or does my model not need one? And if so How do you control it, as there are no spare cables anywhere? The dash and controls and everything are HJ Premier, so I presume the heater and fan are as well, because all the ducting and everything lines up properly, but wouldnt know how to check. Any help appreciated. Thanks.Russ. Edited by user Monday, 23 January 2006 4:33:10 AM(UTC)

Hi Russ.
It depends whether your 1 Tonner is fitted with 'Forced Air Ventilation' or not. 1 Tonners without forced air have no tap & are set up like an HQ. Cars with forced air get a cable operated heater tap which is operated from the lever on the hea |
If at first you don't succeed, just call it Version 1.0 |
