I have recently purchased a 1964 XP Falcon Futura coupe - and wanted to see if I could find out its original specification (it has been modified tastefully). This car has a NSW registration of ZAP-820. I am an Aussie now living in Ireland and am sure it is the only one in Ireland (possibly this part of the world?). This car was imported into the UK by the fellow I bought it off, but was never really used.
It has had some engine work done and the 'Super Pursuit's badge on the front mudguards would indicate that it is a 200 ci engine (it certainly goes like one), but the rego papers state it is a 2.3 litre (141 ci). It has also been converted to a Celica 5 speed manual.
The Engine code is GM4571 and the chassis number is JC10EP22599.
Any info that anyone might be able to supply would be great
