I have inherited a stock standard VB commodore 3.3L carby, the car is perfect inside and out and the motor has just had power steering installed as the previous owner was elderly, however the cars motor can be difficult to start and a bit rough on idle, the car is quite thirsty and doesnt have much power. What can be done? i dont want to put a V8 into it, im thinking maybe an NA RB30, maybe a V6 conversion or even just putting EFI on the 202.

Does anyone hav some info or knowledge on wat i should do and wat will be a relatively affordable option, short term or long term

dont expect EFI on a 202 to give you better fuel economy.

i'd go for the V6, pretty simple conversion.

you need a whole VN or VP though, unbolt the front struts and crossmember, and lift the vn off, then drop VB ontop. only things that you need to s
