I dont usually beef about GMH but this time I must.

Ever dumped a set of 4x4 std rims as you want some big fatties ? Keep em or sellem to me. I need one only (6.00JJ x16 steel).

One rim cost $740.00 AUD without the tyre !!!! EEEEEKKKK.

No wonder they put those rims on Police Rodeos. Theyre expensive. Oh well off to the wreckers or the nearest caged truck (lol) , just kiddin. And no its not the AUD or Yen, its greed!

Try buying a clutch for a 93 jackaroo, Holden $2500 fitted, even aftermarket is still going to cost me $1500 fitted.
worst thing I ever did was buying the Heap, even our local Holden dealer wont take 1 as trade in....

Goddam,

I have a kwaka bike and siezed a big end..

the crankpins cant be machined, and no oversize bearings exist.

a new crank costs $1400.

I bought a donor motor for 500 instead!

Agreed the $$$ are probably right there for something special and machined, like a crank or a head, BUT a bloody STEEL rim ? New GMH VY SS rims are around $300.

I can get the so called RARE GTS rims for about $20-30 a pop ! Go figure, GMH....

Gee, this came out of the archives. 96 era was a good series in Rodeo.

I have a much nicer time driving real Holden's - HQs. You offset the fuel costs versus expensive parts for newer cars.

Cheers John
