Hi all. Hoping someone can offer some advise. I just purchased a new Holden Commodore. Part of the after sales was to try sell us a paint protectant called "Platinum Paint Sealant" for $695. Provided by a company called Six Star Solutions. Has anyone every purchased this sealant for there car? Is it a gimic?. Is it good value. They say you never have to wax your car. It has life time warranty. Bird and bat droppings will never be permanent. They guarantee to get any marks of your car (for environmental factors) and they say your car will beed for ever when washed!! Any advise here?

Just spend $45.00 and buy some mothers wax, then you have some money left to spend on other things, the dealers would be making a huge profit on this service.

if it ain't broke we can improve it.
