Were the XY GT mirrors (tear drop ones) ever fitted to any other model.

no,but i have seen them on heaps of different cars,they will fit on just about anything.

i wanted gt mirrors for the XW until i saw the prices.
Took a pair of XB mirrors and sanded the profile of the stalks to match the XW doors. Nice.

I think you could purchase them on any model when you ordered the vehicle new. I am sure the Left hand mirror had to be ordered as an accessory as they were not standard.
