I'm having problems with an airbag fault code. The probem first occured when I disconnected the airbag sensor while working on the bumper. I forgot to reconnect it and the 82 fault code came up which means that the circuit was open. I remembered the plug, reconnected it and earthed out the airbag fault memory clear pin to reset the circuit however I now have a 63 fault which is supposively caused by a earthing problem but I believe I may need a new body control module and was wondering if anyone had ever changed one and if there was anything to look out for?

Just to let everyone know I have fixed the problem. I had to clean up the earth wire for the airbag module. It meant pulling out the connector block to get to the module and then cleaning up the contact and then reconnecting it and clearing the faults in
